candy heart hdc graph + ideas ♡
fun, customizable conversation heart graphic works up fast with half double crochet — finished heart measures about 5.5" wide and 5" tall on its own or about 7" wide & 6.5" tall with the white tapestry border
the half double crochet design makes this heart compatible on autumn olive oversized sweater & cardigan patterns -- it would be so cute to cover a whole sweater in these!! it would also work on the autumn olive crochet babydoll dress pattern!
scroll to the end to find several example messages you could embroider on these hearts, both sweet & sassy!

ASSEMBLE
you can chain 1 & turn after row 16 & single crochet the tapestry to the upper dowel rod, and then pull up a loop at the bottom and do the same; if you would rather use a tapestry needle to whipstitch it on, you can simply fasten off row 16 & do that
weave in ends after attaching to the dowel rod
EMBROIDER
using the same shaded color of yarn & your tapestry needle, choose a short word or phrase to add to your heart. if it is longer than a few letters, feel free to embroider smaller than what I have done in the example images/make 2 lines of text
