to center the graphic on the body panel, start graph on row 3 [3, 5, 5, 7, 9, 11] and on stitch 13 (17, 20, 23, 26, 29, 33)
♡ MY COLORWORK INSTRUCTIONS ♡
this project must be done in HDC & 1 graph square = 1 HDC
must start on an odd row
even numbered rows will be the wrong side if you are right handed
odd numbered rows will be the wrong side if you are left handed
read the graph from right to left on odd rows, and left to right on even rows
if you make the graphic into a plain tapestry, I would suggest a starting chain of 6 more than the graph to leave 3 on each side, plus one turning chain each row; I would suggest starting graph on row 3 and working two blank rows after the graph is completed
santa’s little helper is the family greyhound from the simpsons tv show; he was adopted after failing a race at christmas and being abandoned by his previous owner because of it
graph is 40 rows by 55 stitches
requires 50g black, 100g brown, 5g white (eyes) (& 200g background color if doing a tapestry as listed above) in medium worsted weight yarn (4)
with 5mm hook & the following gauge: 5 rows of 6 hdc = 2x2” you should have a finished graphic 16 inches tall and 18 inches wide
