manatee graphic is the size of the lazy egg ♡ click to get it! if you have the autumn olive oversized pullover pattern and want center placement for the manatee graphic, start square 1,1 of graph on front panel row 7 [9, 9, 11, 11, 13, 13] and stitch 23 (27, 30, 33, 36, 39, 43)
♡ MY COLORWORK INSTRUCTIONS ♡
this project must be done in HDC & 1 graph square = 1 HDC
must start on an odd row
even numbered rows will be the wrong side if you are right handed
odd numbered rows will be the wrong side if you are left handed
read the graph from right to left on odd rows, and left to right on even rows
if you make the graphic into a plain tapestry, I would suggest a starting chain of 6 more than the graph to leave 3 on each side, plus one turning chain each row; I would suggest starting graph on row 3 and working two blank rows after the graph is completed

manatee graph is 31 rows by 38 stitches
requires in medium worsted weight yarn (4) about 35g dark gray & 15g light gray, as well as about 5g white & small bit of black for the eyes
with 5mm hook & the following gauge: 5 rows of 6 hdc = 2x2”
finished graphic measures about 12”
